Gina and Peter } Tara Firma Farms, Ca

What a fantastic experience this day was with Gina and Peter. The theme was mostly Hawaiian but the wedding took place on a beautiful organic farm in Petaluma. The ceremony was held under an old oak tree, and for the reception, they constructed a tent to hold all the fun activities which included; a pig roast, a homemade vintage inspired photo-booth and hula dancing -I mean...c'mon! Although Gina and Peter followed some typical wedding traditions, it was mostly a super unique celebration that was sincere, handcrafted, unexpected and oh, so sweet! You guys are the best. Thanks for being so patient and I hope we can all grab a drink in the city soon!

Caitlin + Sasha } Hidden Villa, Ca

I knew after meeting Cate and Sasha, I really wanted to work with them. It seemed liked a really good fit. I was right. Hidden Villa was the venue and without even trying, it was such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Everything just seemed to flow naturally all day and the sunset over the Santa Cruz mountains ....pffft...magic.

In all honestly, I felt that this day was not about the details, the food and the place (although all of these things were absolutely amazing) but i think the best part of this wedding, and most memorable for me, was that your family and friends wanted nothing more than to celebrate the two of you. That's it. It was real, honest and lovely to witness. You guys are great. I'm honored to have been there and I hope you keep in touch.

Loved this wedding! The couple, the details, family and friends, the fact that Gamin whipped up homemade scones from scratch on the morning of her wedding. But this didn't surprise me because when I met Gamin she was in the process of hand sewing her own dress. I immediately knew it was an event I wanted to be a part of. I was right! Molly Watson and I photographed this beautiful house tucked away in the hills of Bolinas, ca. "The community is perhaps best known for its reclusive residents. Historically, it is only accessible via unmarked roads; any road sign along nearby Hwy 1 that points the way into town has been torn down by residents". I can understand why the locals would want to keep this place secret. You can find the listing to this amazing vacation rental here.

Tracy and Jacob } San Francisco

My work with Tracy and Jacob was short and sweet. We met up at City Hall for a few photos and then meandered a way towards the party at Axis Cafe. It was an intimate dinner in a beautiful setting, good family and friends - what more do you need, really? Heather Williams did an amazing job with the flowers and table settings. All in all, a fabulous celebration.

Abby and Tai } Washington DC

This year was filled with great clients and Abby and Tai were absolutely among them. It was a beautiful weekend in DC. Not only was it Halloween weekend but also the weekend of a big democratic rally, so needless to say, lots of energy in the city. The Tabard Inn in Dupont Circle was perfect for their smaller wedding and very reminiscent of an old English manor with a bit of quirkiness. Loved, loved this wedding and I wish you both the best!

Ralston Retreat is a pretty spectacular place for a wedding. Winding drive up through a redwood grove not far from the center of Mill Valley, Ca. But what made this particular day even more amazing wasn't just the scenery but the couple that brought all of their friends and family together. Emily and Jason are a one of a kind couple. Really sweet and thoughtful and just good people. I wish you both the best and hope to hear from you again in the future. Molly say's hi as well!

All i can say is WOW! Molly and I had a great time with Annabelle and Chris. Everything was so well thought out and the venue *which was her grandmother's house* was perfect for the occasion. Ceremony in a long grassy field, cocktails by the pool and dinner under the trees. yea - fantastic evening. I wish i was part of the crew that plunged in the pool, fully clothed, at midnight. may 2010} spring semester is over!

My parents came out two days after my last final in school. The weather here in Portland, I can happily say, cooperated and we definitely took advantage of that. Lots of great dinners, trip to the coast, picnic in the Rose gardens and Sauvie Island. good times had by all.

Anthony and Carol Boutard are awesome folks. They are passionate about the food they grow and eager to share it with others. I left that day with my backseat full of fresh produce. Thanks for the fun shoot.

You know those epic days in San Francisco, the ones that seem to happen so rarely in the spring, ...well on April 9th we were lucky to have such an awesome day. Golden Gate Park was naturally crowded with people soaking up the sun. Nicole and Jeremy brought a sweet tandem bike and we literally just road it all over the park, ducking into shady spots here and there. You can check out their webshow here.

Just a few shots from the holidays this year. Must say, photos of babies in bath = cute. Little Kai in bath = irresistible. And everybody sing... "check out his lumps...his lovely baby bumps". What a muse.

Courtenay + John

Courtenay and John were married earlier in June this year but decided to throw on the wedding attire and run around again for some fun photos in San Francisco. We started on Mission Street and made our way downtown stopping first at the owl bar before heading to the Hotel Triton. What other photo shoot can I invent so i can keep working with you guys! So much FUN! oh - yeah - KIDS!
