We made it to Big Tree State Park. I didn't know if the Trooper would make it but we got there. There were big trees. We looked for big foot. Thinking for sure if he existed we would be the first to get a photo of him (or her). When we didn't we decide to make our own in the shadows of the trees. This actually didn't work. So if you own a furry suit, of any kind, I'd love to purchase this for next time. :)

 

Mel and Greg } photo + cinema = magic!

My boyfriend Tony & I have combined our creative talents! With our mutual love for capturing moments through photography and video, we work together to tell the complete story.  Because we know, it can all end up one-big-incredible-blur. We find the best imagery comes by letting couples be themselves and show the love that is genuinely theirs. Our hope is to capture these moments honestly and form real friendships along the way.

With all that said... this is our first collaboration. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
On a dim, breezy day, Greg married his darling Mel underneath the Bay Bridge. Complete with their closest family, friends and a dozen bicycles, their wedding didn’t need anything more: the bay breeze, the gorgeous cityscape, the incredible food and a perfect little cake from Miette. Mel and Greg love cycling so much they’re on a tour de Europe as we speak. You guys are awesome! Come back to us one day!

Meet Delilah

I've had the pleasure of photographing many really amazing couples these last 12 years.  Most of my clients, now friends, come back year to year. They get married, they become parents and they live life. I sometimes feel like I'm the luckiest person on earth; I get to go to work, catch up with my friends and see how life has transpired for them. I get to meet the new babies, they eventually become little teenagers, and as they get older, they remember me. I'm always the "girl with the camera". Yes, life is beautiful.

Life for Bobby, Steff and little Delilah is kicking off to a pretty good start. And I'm so excited to be apart of it. Even if it's just once a year.

Gina and Peter } Tara Firma Farms, Ca

What a fantastic experience this day was with Gina and Peter. The theme was mostly Hawaiian but the wedding took place on a beautiful organic farm in Petaluma. The ceremony was held under an old oak tree, and for the reception, they constructed a tent to hold all the fun activities which included; a pig roast, a homemade vintage inspired photo-booth and hula dancing -I mean...c'mon! Although Gina and Peter followed some typical wedding traditions, it was mostly a super unique celebration that was sincere, handcrafted, unexpected and oh, so sweet! You guys are the best. Thanks for being so patient and I hope we can all grab a drink in the city soon!

I knew after meeting Cate and Sasha, I really wanted to work with them. It seemed liked a really good fit. I was right. Hidden Villa was the venue and without even trying, it was such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Everything just seemed to flow naturally all day and the sunset over the Santa Cruz mountains ....pffft...magic.

In all honestly, I felt that this day was not about the details, the food and the place (although all of these things were absolutely amazing) but i think the best part of this wedding, and most memorable for me, was that your family and friends wanted nothing more than to celebrate the two of you. That's it. It was real, honest and lovely to witness. You guys are great. I'm honored to have been there and I hope you keep in touch.

Molly Watson and I photographed this beautiful house tucked away in the hills of Bolinas, ca. "The community is perhaps best known for its reclusive residents. Historically, it is only accessible via unmarked roads; any road sign along nearby Hwy 1 that points the way into town has been torn down by residents". I can understand why the locals would want to keep this place secret. You can find the listing to this amazing vacation rental here.

Tracy and Jacob } San Francisco

My work with Tracy and Jacob was short and sweet. We met up at City Hall for a few photos and then meandered a way towards the party at Axis Cafe. It was an intimate dinner in a beautiful setting, good family and friends - what more do you need, really? Heather Williams did an amazing job with the flowers and table settings. All in all, a fabulous celebration.

This year was filled with great clients and Abby and Tai were absolutely among them. It was a beautiful weekend in DC. Not only was it Halloween weekend but also the weekend of a big democratic rally, so needless to say, lots of energy in the city. The Tabard Inn in Dupont Circle was perfect for their smaller wedding and very reminiscent of an old English manor with a bit of quirkiness. Loved, loved this wedding and I wish you both the best!

Ralston Retreat is a pretty spectacular place for a wedding. Winding drive up through a redwood grove not far from the center of Mill Valley, Ca. But what made this particular day even more amazing wasn't just the scenery but the couple that brought all of their friends and family together. Emily and Jason are a one of a kind couple. Pretty fantastic day, right? I must admit that, clearly, I was VERY excited for your wedding weekend! I know, I know.... it was rough taking in all the views of Taormino but we managed it and the memory of that hillside town will always be pretty sweet and special to me (and I'm sure everyone else).
